Or if Mies van der Rohe had ever built a speaker.

In autumn, good friends and, of course, audio enthusiasts visited my workshop and became part of our family for a week. As well as cooking, talking and having fun, two enclosures were built that would really have matched the expectations of the second Bauhaus director.
The first was Ollis's five-cubic-foot enclosure with an adjustable bass port.
Second was Stefans Altec A8 speaker, which has an interchangeable baffle for different chassis and horns.
While I do my best to provide support on woodworking, I was taught about measuring, simulation and many other facts about vintage speakers.
The idea is to have more of these speaker-building workshops, not just for friends.
But first, I would like to thank Olli and Stefan for the delicious food, the pleasant time, and of course for building new speakers!
