RLA - 100x better than HiFi

This is about a feeling.

While others try to find excitement in small boxes, 50 years ago Richard Long built sound systems with 20 dB more efficiency. Mathematically, it's a hundred times more sound power from your amp, and you can definitely feel the difference. But be warned: after this experience, you won't want to go back to HiFi.

It took me many weeks to optimise the RLA setup. I spent all my free time on it and was ill for two and a half weeks afterwards.

It took so much time climbing up and down, changing the damping and doing reinforcement, and finding the ideal components. And every time, measuring and listening. I learnt a lot!

To cut a long story short:

I fell in love with the AlNiCo chassis. There are more details and colours, and it's simply beautiful-sounding.

Waldorf doesn't make kick bass. It's either muddy deep bass or an extinction of kick bass. Like Richard, I'll take it further and another construction will follow.
